-----------------------------------
4.0 What's New in this Release
-----------------------------------

This release combines the tools found in the previous SentinelSuperPro Advantage
product into one easy-to-use development toolkit:

	. Evaluation Program
	. SentinelWizard
	. Advanced Editor
	. SentinelShell
	. DSAFE
	. USAFE
	. SAFECFG
	. Sentinel Manufacturing Utility (SMU)

The following features are new in comparison to SentinelSuperPro Advantage 5.1:

	More efficient use of cells
Automatic cell allocation (address placement) for elements
	Common user interface throughout tools
	All developer tools are Win32
Ability to shell multiple applications in one key
	One program for all tools
Can protect up to 28 applications per key
Activation actions are automatically generated for applications that
	need activation (non-active activation type).
Can have a shelled application, integrated application, and custom elements (counter,
data word) in same key without cells getting overwritten, or address conflicts.
Unused cells can be Skipped, Randomized, or Cleared when programming key.
Integrated Query and Response Generator (For evaluation and experimentation)
	SAFE terminology has changed:
Key ID String renamed to "Locking Code" saved in Locking Code File (*.LOC)
Update Script renamed to "License Code" saved in License Code File (*.LIC)
.	Shell supports long filenames.
.	Generation of SAFE strings (License Code and Locking Code) are more secure.
.	SAFE license key no longer needed to access full SAFE functionality.

For more information on migrating from the previous version, please refer to the SentinelSuperPro 6.0 Developer's Guide.

-----------------------------------
 5.0 Where to Go Next?
-----------------------------------

We suggest reading the SentinelSuperPro 6.0 Quick Start Guide before you begin.

-----------------------------------
6.0 Known Issues
-----------------------------------

There is no support for Distributed or Drop-In
Activation Types in this release. To be revisited
	in a future release.

.	The following SAFE commands available in version 5.1
are no longer supported. They may be revisited in a
	future release:

		Check Algo
		Check Counter
		Read Cell

The Activate Product command is not available from the
Action Definition Screen because it is generated
automatically for you when you prototype a key.

.	You will need at least 15MB available disk space to extract
the files from the self-extracting installer. Make sure you
have the TEMP environment variable configured on your system
and the drive that the TEMP environment variable is configured
to has at least 15MB available disk space. You may have 10GB
on your other partitions, but if you only have 5MB free on the
partition where TEMP is set to the installer will be unable
	to extract the files.

.	Multiple developer IDs - If you have more than one developer ID
and want to use both, you will need to have two separate
installations. SentinelSuperPro uses the copy of USAFE32.DLL and
DSAFE32.DLL in the same directory as the program. These DLLs are
uniquely paired to work with the developer ID and passwords you
used when you generated them (Configuration in the Project Stage of
SentinelSuperPro). SentinelSuperPro uses a registry key that is
based on the directory name that it resides in to determine which
Developer ID and passwords to use as defaults when you create
a new project. So if you had two developer IDs, E48F and B2D5, you
could have two directory installations in directories named
\SuperPro\E48F and \SuperPro\B2D5. Whatever you name the directories
is irrelevant--what is important is that the last part of the directory
name is unique for each installation.
